All the Small Things

I'm currently enjoying the 'All the Small Things' series on BBC iPlayer (BBC One, 9:00pm Tuesdays if you're at home during that time). Light hearted, heart-warming family series featuring songs from Blink182 the "punk" band - which happens to be one of my favourites.

"I can reach any star"

I don't understand why I'm crazy about the song "Where my heart will take me", the one featured as intro to Enterprise. I've played it countless times tonight. It could be because the intro featured historical milestones in space exploration. I'm also reluctant to admit I'm getting quite hooked on that series. Maybe it's because T'Pol is so captivating.

Hmm... when will I do my masters degree so that I could get that dream job?

P.S. I think I found most of my links back. :)

Friends at Work

Thank you Nick for rounding up some colleagues at OBOE on Wednesday for my "big birthday", and to those who made an effort to turn up - Andy H, Andy M, Anthony, Shaun, Tyom, Colm and Gerard (did I miss anyone?) . I had a really good time and enjoyed my favourite cuisine at Masala Zone - curry!

Turning 30

I had a really good time with my friends over for BBQ on Sunday, friends from my primary school, secondary school, college and uni. I also invited our neighbour, Andrew - who has never met a Buddhist in his life and found out for the first time that some Buddhists don't eat beef!

I haven't felt so good in a long time. Thanks for being there all along my journey so far: Nick, Yik Yu & Ai Lin, Irene & Albert, Shanice & Keith, Ee Vonne & Gerald, Trina & Coppel, Jaycee & Terence and last but not least, Stephen the man!

Christmas 2009

Whoa... another year, another post!

The last Christmas was fun, I had many presents and gave quite a few to Stephen. The Morphy Richards cappuccino maker, the George Foreman 'Knock out the fat' Grill and the Super Mario Galaxy Wii game are all already proving their value.
