Jack of all trades, master of none

Bugger. Daylight saving has ended. That means winter is drawing near - my least favourite season. It also means I am further away in time difference to all my dearest family and friends back at home and in OZ. By the time I got over my sleepiness today (Sunday, of course) it is already too late to call anyone!

Dinner in Oporto, overlooking the Douro river
Am trying to learn another language or two. Am having this sudden enthusiasm to be a professional translator in the future, though a friend told me it won't be good pay! Was learning Portuguese until I visited the country. I mean, I was a pretty good beginner in Portuguese, but I quickly realised there were so much grammer I hadn't a clue about! So I am currently learning French, in hoping that it will help when I pick up Portuguese seriously in the future. But oh! The pronunciations are impossible. Maybe I should stick to Portuguese, or maybe learn German?! German is after all very similar to English.

Ok ok... maybe it's just a female thing - trying to do everything at once and nothing will get achieved in the end. I'll stick to BabelFish for now. ;)

Até logo, meus amigos!
