Home Sweet Home

Well, I've decided to post entries about my Malaysian trip. I feel like I will be more organised with this trip, compared to the one I had last year, when I failed to do all my shopping and see all the friends I wanted to see.

Has gone pretty well so far.

The queue at London Heathrow airport was very tiring though. I lined up to check in almost 4 hours before departure time, and then there was another queue at the custom, where we had to take off our shoes and remove our laptops from our bags to clear security. I got singled out for body check and even had to undo my belt! But in the end, I didn't miss my flight and there was no delay. I reached Kuala Lumpur 4:30 Thursday evening and took the KLIA Ekspress to KL Sentral. Uneventful, but happy to be back, watching the banana trees and palm trees passing by my window all the way.

Brother came with mum to pick me up from Sentral. Mum was very chatty on the way home. She also fed me non-stop for couple of hours. Soup, fruits, roasted chicken, yam fries, stewed herbed pork, etc etc etc. Good home-cooked food.

Called up my dear cousins and they promptly arrived at my gate. Took me to Kajang and met up with more of my cousins and we went to a modern Kopitiam to have large glasses of juices and iced-coffees. It's good to be back! Oh yeah, not to mention, otak-otak and fried spicy potato slices. Yum!

1 day down, 19 more to go!
